Terms & Conditions

Simple terms for ordering honey and beeswax from Swann’s Garden.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

1. About Swann’s Garden

Swann’s Garden is a family-run apiary in Fenny Drayton. Our location is Fenny Drayton, Nuneaton, Warwickshire. You can contact us at buzz@swannsgarden.uk or on 07971 600195.

2. Our products

Our honey and beeswax are natural products produced in small batches. Colour, flavour, aroma, texture and consistency can vary through the season and from hive to hive. These normal natural variations are not, by themselves, a fault.

Product photographs are intended to represent our products as accurately as reasonably possible, but natural variation means an individual jar or batch may look slightly different.

Weights shown for honey are the net weight of the honey and exclude the jar.

3. Natural crystallisation

Pure honey naturally crystallises over time. The speed and extent of crystallisation varies according to the natural composition of the honey and how it is stored. Crystallisation is a normal process and does not mean that the honey has spoiled.

If you prefer runny honey, place the closed jar in warm water and warm it gently until the crystals begin to dissolve. Avoid overheating.

Store honey at room temperature in a cool, dry place with the lid securely closed. Refrigeration is not recommended because it can encourage crystallisation.

Honey is not suitable for children under 12 months of age.

4. Availability

Our honey is seasonal and produced in limited quantities. All products are subject to availability and may sell out. Placing an item in your basket does not reserve it.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). Delivery charges are shown or calculated before you pay. Online payment is completed through SumUp’s secure hosted checkout. Swann’s Garden does not receive or store your full card details.

By selecting the button to pay securely with SumUp, you are placing an order and acknowledging that payment is required. Your order is accepted when payment has been successfully completed and the order is confirmed.

6. Delivery and collection

Our current delivery charges and collection arrangements are set out on our Delivery & Returns page and are shown during checkout. Larger orders that exceed our standard parcel allowance can be arranged by contacting us before ordering.

Unless we agree otherwise with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the order being accepted.

7. Your right to cancel

If you buy online, you will normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason. You may tell us you wish to cancel at any time from placing the order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

After telling us you wish to cancel, you should return the goods within 14 days. Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them.

We will refund amounts due, including the cost of our standard delivery option where applicable, within the timescale required by law. We may wait until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Cancellation rights may not apply to goods which are exempt under consumer law. For hygiene and food-safety reasons, please do not return opened food products unless they are faulty, damaged or not as described. Contact us first and we will explain the appropriate arrangements.

8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

If an order arrives damaged, is incorrect, faulty or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Photographs of the product and packaging can help us resolve transit damage quickly. Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with your legal rights.

9. Cancellation form

You do not have to use this form, but you may copy and email it to us if you wish to cancel an eligible online order:

10. Personal information

We use personal information as described in our Privacy Notice.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our products, delivery arrangements or legal requirements change. The terms applying to your purchase are those in force when you place your order.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in them limits any rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
